After graduating High School, I explored various trades, including sales, cleaning, and construction. While financial gain was not my primary focus, my passion for travel was. Throughout my life, I have had the privilege of calling four different countries home. I have also founded several businesses: a candy distribution company in South America, a remodeling company in the USA during the 2000s, a property management company in Mexico in the 2010s, a painting company in Canada in the mid-2010s, and most recently, a detailing company in the 2020s.
Despite my varied experiences, nothing could have prepared me for the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. Operating a detailing business was already demanding, but the pandemic exacerbated these difficulties. With fewer people driving, the demand for car detailing plummeted. Additionally, the surge of YouTube tutorials inspired many inexperienced individuals to enter the detailing industry, leading to increased competition and undercutting. The prevalence of detailing scams on Facebook further strained the industry. Our efforts to build a reputable business were undermined by novices, and the availability of government aid made it difficult to retain employees.
The subsequent three years were particularly challenging as we faced significant overhead costs and the need to maintain our client base. We implemented various strategies, such as introducing ceramic coatings, acquiring new vans, and expanding our services to include boat polishing. While some initiatives yielded temporary success, we ultimately discovered that our clients valued our reliability and professionalism. By the end of the pandemic, our business had transitioned to serving primarily commercial clients. Many companies inquired about franchising opportunities and additional locations across Canada, leading to the inception of Star Fleet Detailing Franchise.
Our objective for the next five years is to establish a franchise presence in every major Canadian city with a population of 150,000 or more. We aim to revolutionize the industry by setting a new standard for professional detailing—emphasizing expertise, reliability, availability, and affordability.

My unrivaled passion for the automotive industry is what led me to this profession. I grew up seeing the beauty of vehicles through the uniqueness of every owner’s taste and modifications. This shaped the respect I have for cars today.
I started with Star Fleet Detailing because the opportunity to bring my skills into a business that truly values and utilizes them to the best of their abilities was important to me. My greatest accomplishment here is proving myself as someone customers can trust, value, and most importantly, rely on.
What I find most rewarding at Star Fleet is the family-like atmosphere. It’s fulfilling to have a personal connection with everyone who works here.

I am an individual who enjoys hands-on projects and being a detailing technician at Star Fleet Detailing allows me to continuously strive for success as I get to use my hands and learn different skills. Being a kinesthetic learner, I find that this position suits me perfectly.
I started with Star Fleet Detailing because of the healthy atmosphere I am surrounded by. It feels like a second home. My co-workers strive for each other's success, and we are able to work as a team, making sure everyone is happy.
My greatest accomplishment so far is Detailing a unit for a customer who was ecstatic with the work that was completed. She had written a pleasant review and left a 5 star rating on the company's website. Knowing my work made another person's day really brings meaning and help me strive for success.

At Star Fleet Detailing, a big reward is seeing the reaction of our customers. Being able to restore a vehicle and provide a service to our community gives us a special sense of accomplishment. The feeling in our hearts knowing we provided excellent service is unmatchable.
